Is there a Dada???

Is there a DaDa in the house? SOoo.. Paxton now says Dada. I don't really think that he knows who Dada is but he likes to say it over and over again. I guess since dads feel left out some of the time and the bond between mother and baby is so great, God decides to make the dad feel better and allow most babies to say their name first...that is the conclusion I have come to. I was teasing Rusty that at 6:30 in the morning I would go and feed Paxton but he does not want me he wants his Dada, DAda, DADA. So...one more way to get out of waking up so early, since I am not the morning person (and yes, I do know that eventually I will have to get up even earlier that 6:30) Also, the Cox house is about to get hectic, as our small beautiful baby boy is only days from being mobile. We can frog hop and roll just about anywhere. We are ladies and gentleman up on all fours...I can only imagine:> Since somehow Paxton has already managed to wiggle out of the carseat and stroller_giving me mom of the week award twice. He is a BUSY body? Does he get this from his mother or father:) We have also advanced to carrots, grapes, vienna sausage things, and just about anything we can get our hands on. I am not sure if this is good...but he has already eaten a whole pickle!! He is a GREAT eater...not picky at all. So if you don't see a blog for awhile you know that Paxton is MOBILE!!

Garage Sale???

Paxton is such a big help. We (SueSue and I) are cleaning the closets and attics in preparation for the BIG SALE in March. Anyone reading this is more than welcome to contribute to the sale!! Here we are in mom and dads closet cleaning and finally getting rid of clothes that don't fit. The unused coat hangers are not an indication of how many shirts and pants do not fit:)- Don't worry!! I still have the membership to LA Fitness.

This is Laura Kennedy, the cute little girl who I used to babysit all the time. She has turned into a beautiful Fighting Texas Aggie, Woman of God, and a teacher... (who hopefully has an engagment ring in the near future!!! Paxton got the pleasure of playing with her and Scott a couple weekends ago. Love ya and can't wait to see you again...maybe with a ring and a wedding to plan:)

This is the life!! And I dared ask what more a little boy could ask for... (he's no fool, starting early...and older too!)

Uncle K and Little P

Well, I went with SueSue and Grandpat Super Bowl Sunday to my first Hockey Game. My unofficial cousin Tanner plays for his high school, and I got to be apart of all the cheering. I had practiced my screaming just for the event. While there I got to hang out with Uncle K. It was so much fun...thanks Kyle-o for hanging out with me!! Can't wait to see ya again.

Update:

So I joined LA Fitness in search of the perfect abs/body...I don't think that is ever achieved after a baby though. (I fell better saying that, smaller expectations:) Well the first day I did a step class lead by my friend Cindy, I had contemplated after 30 minutes if I could just walk out or prayed that Paxton would need me in the nursey. Luckily my pray was answered when I heard mother of Paxton Cox come to Kids Klub. Saved by the baby!! The problem is that everyday since then I have worked out I have heard mother of Paxton Cox please come to the nursey. I don't know how it happened but I have of those mamas babies. So Rusty and I are trying to break the habits. However our precious angel is sleeping through the night which is so NICE:) Another thing...why is it that after buying all the expensive toys they want the kitchen supplies that cost $1. Paxton loves spatulas and long spoons, he is over the stage where he sticks in so far that he chokes. Paxton is about to have his big 8 month b day. Where did the time go???

Paxton and SueSue did some bath time in the sink this Friday...Note the spatula:)
